Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the center of Corfu town (Spianada Square), head towards the Old Fortress first. Walk along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the views of the sea and the Old Fortress. Continue along the waterfront until you reach the end of the promenade. From there, you will see the New Fortress directly ahead. It is located on El. Venizelou Street (El. Venizelou 6). As you approach, continue walking straight until you reach the entrance.

Public Bus
From any location in Corfu town, find the nearest bus stop that services the local routes. You can take any local bus that goes towards the city center. Get off at the stop closest to Spianada Square. From Spianada Square, walk towards the waterfront promenade and follow the directions mentioned earlier to reach the New Fortress.

Bike Rental
If you prefer biking, there are several bike rental shops around Corfu town. Rent a bike and head towards the Old Fortress. Ride along the waterfront promenade and continue until you see the New Fortress. There is a bike parking area close to the entrance, allowing you to securely park your bike before exploring the fortress.
