Walking
From the center of Gjirokastër, head west along the main road (Rruga 18 Shtatori) towards the Gjirokastër Castle. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with SH4. At this intersection, turn right onto SH4. Follow the signs towards Himara. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will see signs for Himara Castle. Follow the road uphill to reach the castle entrance.
