Walking
Start from the city center of Gjirokastër, specifically at the Gjirokastër Castle. Exit the castle grounds and head down to the main road, Rruga Ismail Qemali. Walk downhill for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Rruga 28 Nëntori. Turn left onto Rruga 28 Nëntori and continue walking straight for about 15 minutes. You will pass by several local shops and cafes along the way. After reaching the end of Rruga 28 Nëntori, turn right onto Rruga Vangjel Zako. Continue on this road as it bends and rises slightly. The Ruins of the Meçite will be on your left, marked by a small path leading up to the site. Follow the path to reach the ruins.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle in Gjirokastër, start from the main square at Rruga 28 Nëntori. Cycle down Rruga Ismail Qemali towards the southern end of the city. After about 1 km, you will reach an intersection; take a left onto Rruga 28 Nëntori and continue cycling for another 1.5 km. Make sure to keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards the Ruins of the Meçite. The path will have a slight incline, and you will see the entrance to the ruins on your left. Park your bicycle in the designated area and walk the short distance to the ruins.

Public Transport
While public transport options are limited in Gjirokastër, you can catch a local minibus that heads towards the outskirts of the city. From the main bus station, located near the city center, board a minibus that is headed towards the villages surrounding Gjirokastër. Inform the driver that you wish to get off near the Ruins of the Meçite. After approximately 15 minutes, you will be dropped off at a nearby stop. From there, it will be a short 10-minute walk to the ruins. Head back towards the direction of the main road, and look for the path leading to the ruins on your left.
