Getting There

Car
From Kelmendi, head southeast towards the Rruga Kelmend road. Continue for approximately 15 km until you reach the intersection with SH20. Turn right onto SH20 and follow the road for about 10 km. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards the Prokletije National Park area. Once you see the signs, follow the directions as they lead you into the national park. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for mountain roads as they can be narrow and winding.

Public Transportation
You can take a local bus from Kelmendi to the town of Shkodra. Buses typically leave from the central bus station in Kelmendi. Once in Shkodra, you will need to find a bus going towards Valbona or Theth, as these routes will take you closer to Prokletije. The bus fare is usually around 300-500 ALL (Albanian Lek). After arriving in either Valbona or Theth, you can hire a taxi or a local guide to take you into Prokletije National Park, which may cost an additional 2000-3000 ALL depending on the distance and the number of passengers.
