Driving
Most visitors drive to Llogara National Park, the primary access point for Mount Çika. From Vlorë, follow the SH8 highway south for approximately 40 km. The drive itself is scenic, offering stunning coastal views. Be aware that the road can be narrow and winding in places. There is no fee to enter Llogara National Park, but parking near the trailhead may cost around 200-300 Lek per day.

While there is no direct public transportation to the Llogara Pass, you can take a bus from Vlorë to the village of Palasë, which is located near the park entrance. From Palasë, you would need to take a taxi or arrange for a ride to the Llogara Pass, which is approximately 10km away. A taxi from Palasë to Llogara Pass will cost approximately 1,500-2,000 Lek.

The most popular hiking route to Mount Çika starts from the Llogara Pass. The trail is approximately 12 km long and takes about 5-6 hours to reach the summit. The path is well-marked but can be steep and rocky in places. Follow the red and white markings. There are no entrance fees or special permits required for hiking Mount Çika.
