Getting There

    From the village of Tresonche, the Cave of Alilica is approximately a 3-4 km hike. Begin at the churches of St. Peter and Paul at the entrance of Tresonche and follow the Tresonechka River. The path leads past a small hydropower plant. After approximately 3 km, you'll arrive at the cave. The trail can be overgrown in places, and requires crossing the Tresonechka River, so be prepared for slippery conditions.

  • Driving

    To reach the Cave of Alilica, drive towards the village of Tresonche. From the regional road Debar-Mavrovo, branch off at Boškov Most and follow the road towards Tresonche. The road to Tresonche is paved but can be narrow and damaged, requiring careful driving. Park in the village and continue to the cave on foot. Parking is limited, so arrive early.
