Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Saranda. Head southeast on Rruga e Flamurit toward Rruga Naim Frasheri. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the main road, SH8. Turn left onto SH8 and follow the signs for Butrint. After approximately 3 km, you will see a sign for Mali i Lekuresit on your left. Turn left and follow the winding road uphill. Parking is available near the viewpoint, but be cautious of other vehicles on the narrow road.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Mali i Lekuresit using public transportation, head to the main bus station in Saranda, located near the waterfront. Look for buses or minibusses heading towards Butrint or Ksamil. The fare is typically around 100-200 Lek (approximately $1-2). Inform the driver you want to stop at Mali i Lekuresit. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you get off at the designated stop, follow the signs leading up the hill to the viewpoint. The path is well-marked, and it takes about 15-30 minutes to walk up.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Saranda to Mali i Lekuresit. You can find taxis near the main square or call a local service. The fare should be negotiated beforehand, but expect to pay around 1000-1500 Lek (approximately $10-15). The journey takes about 10 minutes. Taxis can drop you off at the viewpoint, making it a convenient option if you’re traveling with a group or prefer not to walk.
