Walking
From Elbasan city center, the castle is easily accessible on foot. Head northeast, following signs towards 'Kalaja e Elbasanit'. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes, allowing you to explore the city's charming streets along the way.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus at Elbasan Bus Station, exit the station and walk northeast on Rruga e Shtyllave. Continue straight until you reach Rruga 1 Maji, then turn left. Follow this road, and you will see signs for Elbasan Castle. It's approximately a 15-minute walk. A local bus or taxi from the bus station to the castle costs around 300-500 ALL.
Car
If driving, take the SH3 highway towards Elbasan. The castle is located in the city center. Once in Elbasan, follow signs directing you to the castle. Parking is available near the castle, but fees may apply. Be aware that parking may be limited.
