    From Skanderbeg Square, head east towards Rruga Myslym Shyri. Walk along the main path leading out of the square; the Independence Memorial will be on your left after about 400 meters, situated prominently along the street. The walk is short.

    From Blloku, walk to the nearest bus stop at Rruga Hoxha Tahsim. Board bus number 9 or 11 towards the city center. Disembark at 'Sheshi Skënderbej' and walk along Rruga Myslym Shyri for about 10 minutes. The bus fare is 40 Lek.
