From the center of Shkodër, Rozafa Castle is approximately a 30-40 minute walk. Head northwest on Rruga Kolë Idromeno, then turn right onto Rruga Rozafa. Follow this road, which leads directly to the castle. Note that the final stretch involves an uphill climb on a cobblestone path.
Public Transport
Local buses run from Shkodër city center to Rozafa Castle. Bus lines 1 and 2 (Fermentim – Center – Bahçallek and 2. Bahçallëk – Center – Fermentim) can be used. A single fare costs 40 Lek. From the bus stop nearest to the castle, it is about a 10-20 minute walk uphill to the entrance.
