  • Public Transport

    From Tirana, buses to Berat depart from the South and North Bus Terminal. A one-way ticket costs approximately 500 Lek (€4.40). The journey takes around 2.5 hours. From the Berat Bus Terminal, you can take a local city bus to the city center for a cost of approximately 30 Lek. The local bus runs every 20 minutes and the journey takes 15 minutes.

    Taxis are available in Berat, with a taxi stand located in 'Iljaz Vrioni' Square. A short taxi ride within the city, such as from the bus terminal to Berat Castle, typically costs around 1800 ALL (€15) for a 5km ride.
