Getting There

  • Bus

    From Bab El Oued, walk to the nearest bus stop (you can ask locals for the closest one, as there are several along the main roads). Look for bus lines that head towards El Madania or Ben Aknoun. Once you board the bus, stay on until you reach the Ben Aknoun stop, which is commonly announced. The bus fare is approximately 30 DZD.

  • Taxi (Collective Taxi)

    Another option is to take a collective taxi (or 'taxi collectif'). Head to the main street in Bab El Oued where these taxis usually gather. Look for a taxi that has passengers headed toward Ben Aknoun. This option can be a bit more expensive, costing around 50-100 DZD per person, depending on the number of passengers.

  • Walking (from Ben Aknoun Bus Stop)

    Once you arrive at the Ben Aknoun bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach the entrance of Ben Aknoun National Park. Exit the bus and head straight along Rue de la Révolution for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs pointing towards the park entrance as you get closer. The park is located at Q224+82R, and is well-marked.
