Getting There

Walking
Starting from the center of Canillo, head east towards the main road (CG-2). Walk along the road and look for the sign indicating the direction to Meritxell. Continue walking on the CG-2 for about 2 kilometers. You will eventually come across a well-marked path leading uphill to the Sanctuary Basilica of Our Lady of Meritxell. Follow the path, and enjoy the scenic views as you approach the basilica. The walk should take you around 30-40 minutes.

From the central bus station in Canillo, take the bus heading towards Meritxell. The bus departs regularly, and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at the Sanctuary Basilica of Our Lady of Meritxell stop. Once you arrive, you will see the basilica just a short walk away.
