From the center of Canillo, start at the main square (Plaça de la Vila). Head northeast on Av. Sant Joan de Caselles towards Camí de la Fonts. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Camí de Meritxell. Turn left onto Camí de Meritxell, which will lead you out of Canillo. Follow this road for about 1.5 km, passing by beautiful landscapes and occasional signs directing you to the Basilique Meritxell. The basilica will be on your right; look for the prominent structure that stands out in the area.
