Pont Tibetà: A High-Altitude Thrill in Canillo

Brave the heights on this record-breaking suspension bridge in Canillo, Andorra, with unforgettable views and thrilling adventure awaiting!

4.6

The Pont Tibetà, located in the parish of Canillo, is one of the most impressive tourist attractions in the Pyrenees. This minimalist structure is suspended high above the Vall del Riu, offering breathtaking views. The bridge is 603 meters long and one meter wide, with a dizzying height of 158 meters. Access to the bridge is exclusively by bus from Canillo or the Roc del Quer Viewpoint, followed by a scenic 900-meter walking path. The bridge can support 600 people at a time, with an estimated 165 visitors per hour. The Pont Tibetà is not for the faint of heart, but it is a unique and exhilarating experience that captures the essence of Canillo's charm. While the bridge was built in 2022, there are conflicting reports of another bridge being built in 2004 to improve communications between the town of Canillo and the Grandvalira-Canillo ski resort. Regardless, the current bridge has quickly become a must-see attraction in the Pyrenees.
