Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Praça da Independência, a well-known landmark in Luanda. From the square, head southeast toward the Avenida 4 de Fevereiro. Continue along Avenida 4 de Fevereiro for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rua da Missão. Turn right onto Rua da Missão and walk for about 500 meters. You will see the Church of Our Lady of Remedies on your left, located at 56PH+HV5, Luanda. The church is situated in the Ingombota borough, making it a notable stop for tourists.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you prefer taking public transportation, start at the nearest bus stop to your location. Look for a bus heading towards Ingombota, which is a common route. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop closest to the Church of Our Lady of Remedies, or you can ask fellow passengers for assistance. After disembarking, walk towards the church, which should be approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

• Bicycle Rental

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in the city. Begin your journey from the city center and cycle towards Avenida 4 de Fevereiro. Follow the avenue for about 1 kilometer, then turn right onto Rua da Missão. The church will be on your left after a short ride. Biking is a great way to see the city and enjoy the local scenery along the way.
