Once you arrive in Lubango, you can take a local taxi or motorcycle taxi (known as 'mototaxi') to get to Tundavala Gap. In Lubango, tell the driver to take you to Estr. da Tundavala. The gap is located approximately 30 km from the city. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach the entrance of Tundavala Gap, you may have to walk a short distance to the viewpoint.
