From central Lubango, take the Estrada da Tundavala road. Drive approximately 30 kilometers (about 45 minutes), following the signs to Tundavala Gap. The road is well-marked, leading directly to a parking area near the viewpoint. Be aware that the final stretch involves winding roads, so drive carefully. There is no toll on this route. Parking is available near the viewpoint.

Public Transport
To reach Tundavala Gap via public transportation, take a shared taxi (locally known as 'taxi colectivo') from the main taxi rank in Lubango towards Tundavala. The fare is typically around 500 Kwanza per person, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Inform the driver of your destination to be dropped off at the entrance to Tundavala Gap. From Serra da Leba, find a local bus or shared taxi (known as 'candongue') that travels towards Lubango. Make sure to confirm that the route includes Tundavala. Once you arrive at Lubango, you can catch a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi (known as 'mototaxi') to Tundavala Gap. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and should cost approximately 1,500 Kwanza. Ensure you have cash on hand as mobile payments might not be accepted.
