After about 10 kilometers, you will arrive at the lake's parking area. There is no fee for parking.

If you are using public transportation, first take a bus from Cerro Tronador to the town of El Bolsón or Bariloche, depending on your starting point. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in El Bolsón or Bariloche, look for a local bus service that goes to Lago Frías. The bus ride should take around 30 to 45 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited, especially on weekends and holidays. There may be a small fee for the bus, typically around 100-200 ARS.
