Getting There

From Cerro Tronador, head south on Route 40 towards El Bolsón. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Ruta Provincial 83. Continue on this road for about 12 km until you reach the parking area for Laguna Frías. Note that the road may be rough in places, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended. After parking, you will need to hike approximately 1.5 km to reach the lake.
