Car
From El Chaltén, head west on the main road (Ruta Provincial 23) for approximately 12 km. You will reach the entrance of the Los Glaciares National Park. There is a toll fee of about 800 Argentine Pesos for entering the park, so be prepared with cash. Continue on the road until you reach the parking area for the trailhead to Paso del Viento. Park your car here and prepare for the hike.

Take a bus from El Chaltén to the Los Glaciares National Park entrance. Buses run regularly throughout the day, and the fare is approximately 200 Argentine Pesos. Upon arrival at the park entrance, pay the entrance fee of around 800 Argentine Pesos. From here, you'll need to walk to the trailhead, which is about a 30-minute hike from the bus drop-off point to reach the start of the trail to Paso del Viento.
