Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from El Chaltén, head south on Route 23 for about 5 km until you reach the Laguna Torre trailhead parking area. The parking area is located at the end of the road and is the starting point for the hike to Torre Glacier. The trailhead is well-marked. Please note that parking is free but fills up quickly during peak tourist season.

  • Public Transportation

    Take the local bus from El Chaltén to the Laguna Torre trailhead. Buses depart regularly from the main bus station in El Chaltén. The ride takes approximately 15 minutes and costs around 100 Argentine pesos. Once you arrive at the trailhead, you will begin your hike towards Torre Glacier.
