Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the city center (Centro Civico), walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida 12 de Octubre. Take bus number 10, which will take you to the Llao Llao area. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Llao Llao stop, disembark and look for signs directing you to Muelle Bahía López. It's about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Head towards the lakeshore, following the scenic pathway until you reach the dock.

• Bicycle Rental

  Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in San Carlos de Bariloche, particularly near the Centro Civico. Use the bike lanes along Avenida Bustillo, which runs parallel to the lake. Continue on this road for about 25 minutes, enjoying the views of Lake Nahuel Huapi. When you reach the Llao Llao area, follow the signs to Muelle Bahía López, which is accessible via a short path leading to the water.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, start at the Centro Civico and head southwest on Avenida San Martín. This route will take you along the lakefront. It’s about a 1.5-hour walk, but the views are stunning. Continue along the shore until you reach the Llao Llao area. Once you arrive, follow the signs to Muelle Bahía López, which is clearly marked and located right on the water.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  You can easily catch a taxi or use a rideshare app from anywhere in San Carlos de Bariloche. Request a ride to Muelle Bahía López. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic. Ensure to communicate clearly with the driver to take you to the dock, as it is a popular tourist destination.
