Getting There

  • Public Transit

    From downtown Chandler, walk to the nearest Valley Metro bus stop. Take Bus Route 30 towards Santan Village. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the intersection of Gila River and Coolidge, AZ. From there, transfer to Bus Route 20 towards Coolidge. Continue on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the Casa Grande Ruins Visitor Center stop. The visitor center is located just a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Bicycle

    Start at the Chandler City Hall and head north on North Arizona Avenue. Continue straight for about 3 miles until you reach East Riggs Road. Turn right onto East Riggs Road and ride for another mile until you reach South Arizona Boulevard (Highway 87). Turn left and continue for about 10 miles. Look for signs for Casa Grande Ruins Visitor Center. Follow the signs to the center which will be on your right.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Chandler Center for the Arts, start walking south on North Arizona Avenue. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach East Pecos Road. Turn left on East Pecos Road and walk for about a mile. You will come to South Arizona Boulevard (Highway 87). From here, it's about a 10-mile walk to the Casa Grande Ruins Visitor Center. Please note this is a long walk and it may be advisable to consider public transport for this distance.
