Car
From the visitor center of Chiricahua National Monument, head south on the Monument Road until you reach the exit of the park. Turn right onto AZ-181 S and continue for approximately 3 miles. Merge onto US-80 E and drive for about 8 miles. You will arrive at the intersection of NM-80 and Portal Rd. The Chiricahua Desert Museum will be on your right at this intersection.

There is no direct public transportation from Chiricahua National Monument to The Chiricahua Desert Museum, so it is recommended to either rent a car or arrange for a taxi or rideshare service.
