If you are starting from Grand Canyon Village, head southeast on Village Loop Drive toward the Bright Angel Trailhead. The Bright Angel Trailhead is well-marked and is situated near the visitor center. There is parking available, but it can fill up quickly, especially during peak season. From the Bright Angel Trailhead, follow the Bright Angel Trail for approximately 3 miles to reach the Three Mile Resthouse. This section of the trail is well-maintained, but be prepared for a moderate hike with some elevation gain.

If you prefer using public transportation, take the Grand Canyon Shuttle Bus from the Grand Canyon Visitor Center to the Bright Angel Trailhead. Once you arrive at the Bright Angel Trailhead, follow the Bright Angel Trail for about 3 miles to reach the Three Mile Resthouse.
