Getting There

  • Driving

    From Grand Canyon Village, take Desert View Drive (Highway 64 East) for approximately 25 miles. The drive itself offers scenic views and multiple viewpoints along the way. After passing the Desert View Watchtower, continue a short distance west; Navajo Point will be on your left. Parking is available near the rim. There are 33 parking spots and 5 RV spots. There is no fee to park or enter Navajo Point. Expect the drive to take around 30 minutes.

    From Grand Canyon Village, free shuttle buses are available. Board the Blue Route shuttle at any designated stop in the village. Stay on the shuttle for approximately 20 minutes and disembark at the Navajo Point stop. From there, a short walk will lead you to the viewpoint. Shuttle schedules may vary, so check the National Park Service website for the most up-to-date information.

To the west, landmarks such as Yaki Point and Shiva Temple can be seen. The Desert View Watchtower is also visible from Navajo Point. While Navajo Point itself has limited amenities, the nearby Desert View area, just a few minutes to the east, offers a range of facilities, including food and drink options, a marketplace, a gas station, and a campground.
