    From downtown Mesa, head to the nearest Valley Metro bus stop. You can take the Route 61 bus towards Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Ride the bus for approximately 40 minutes until you reach the 'Happy Valley Rd & 19th Ave' stop. From there, transfer to the Route 50 bus towards 59th Ave & Bell Rd. Ride this bus for about 10 minutes until you reach the 'Sonoran Desert Dr & 16th Ave' stop. The Sonoran Preserve - Desert Vista Trailhead will be a short walk from the bus stop.
