From Scottsdale, head to the nearest bus stop for Valley Metro Route 72. Board the bus heading towards 75th Ave & Cactus Rd. Ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the intersection of 75th Ave & Cactus Rd. Transfer to Route 186 and continue for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Carefree Hwy & Cave Creek Rd. From there, it's a 15-minute walk east along Cave Creek Rd until you reach N Lava Ln. Turn left on N Lava Ln, and you will arrive at Cave Creek Regional Park.
