Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are starting from downtown Phoenix, head to the nearest Valley Metro bus stop. Take the bus route 0 (Central Ave) towards the Camelback Rd & Central Ave stop. From there, transfer to bus route 50 (Camelback) and ride until you reach 44th St & Camelback Rd. Disembark and walk east on Camelback Rd for about 0.5 miles until you reach E Sierra Vista Dr. Turn left (north) on E Sierra Vista Dr, and continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles. The Quartz Ridge Trailhead will be on your left.

• Light Rail

  If you are near the light rail station in downtown Phoenix, board the light rail heading towards the Sycamore/Main St station. Disembark at the 44th St/Washington station. From here, transfer to bus route 50 (Camelback) and ride until you reach 44th St & Camelback Rd. Walk east on Camelback Rd for about 0.5 miles, then turn left (north) on E Sierra Vista Dr. Continue for approximately 0.3 miles; the Quartz Ridge Trailhead will be on your left.

• Bicycle Rental

  Consider renting a bicycle from one of the many bike-sharing stations throughout Phoenix. Begin your ride from downtown and head east on Camelback Rd. Continue for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with 44th St. Turn left (north) onto 44th St for a short distance, then turn right onto E Sierra Vista Dr. The Quartz Ridge Trailhead will be on your left after approximately 0.3 miles.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the vicinity of the Camelback East Village, you can walk directly to the Quartz Ridge Trailhead. Find your way to Camelback Rd and proceed east. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto E Sierra Vista Dr. Walk for approximately 0.3 miles, and you will find the Quartz Ridge Trailhead on your left.
