Getting There

• Light Rail

  If you're near the Tempe Town Lake or anywhere in central Tempe, you can take the Valley Metro Light Rail. Locate the nearest light rail station, such as the 'Tempe Transportation Center' or 'Mill Ave/3rd Street' station. Board a train heading towards 'Mesa'. Stay on the train for about 5-10 minutes. Get off at 'Mill Ave/3rd Street' station. From there, it's a short walk to Downtown Tempe. Head north on Mill Avenue, and you'll find Downtown Tempe at 1 W Rio Salado Pkwy.

• Bus

  You can take the Valley Metro bus service to reach Downtown Tempe. Check the nearest bus stop and look for routes that head towards 'Tempe Town Lake' or 'Mill Avenue'. Routes 61 and 72 are frequent options. Board the bus and ride until you reach the 'Mill Ave/University' stop.   If you're close enough to Downtown Tempe, walking is a great option. From the Tempe Town Lake, head north along the lakeside path until you reach Mill Avenue.
