Car

From downtown Tucson, head east on E Broadway Blvd. Continue for about 8 miles until you reach S Houghton Rd. Turn left onto S Houghton Rd and continue for approximately 10 miles. You'll then reach the entrance to Saguaro National Park East at 3693 S Old Spanish Trail. Note that there is an entrance fee of $20 per vehicle valid for 7 days.

From downtown Tucson, take Sun Tran bus Route 1 towards the University of Arizona. Transfer to bus Route 18 at the University of Arizona (which runs towards East Tucson). This bus will take you to the nearest stop at E. 22nd St and S. Houghton Rd. From there, it is a 2-mile walk to the entrance of Saguaro National Park East. Be aware that this journey may take over an hour and a half, and you may need to check the current bus schedules for exact times.
