If you're traveling by car, start at the center of Prescott, AZ. Head south on AZ-89 towards Iron Springs Rd. Continue on AZ-89 for approximately 6 miles. Turn left onto Walker Rd and follow it for about 2 miles until you reach the Prescott National Forest entrance. Once in the forest, continue on Walker Rd, which becomes Forest Road 5. Follow Forest Road 5 for about 3 miles until you see a marked trailhead for The Big Juniper on your left. Park in the designated parking area and follow the trail signs to The Big Juniper.

If you're using public transportation, take a Greyhound or local shuttle to Prescott. From there, use a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach the Prescott National Forest entrance. Once you arrive at the entrance, you will need to hike to The Big Juniper. Follow the directions for the car route from the entrance, or ask the driver to drop you off at the Walker Rd trailhead.
