Public Bus
To reach Walnut Canyon National Monument from central Sedona, you can take the Verde Lynx public bus. Start at the Sedona Public Library bus stop, located at 3250 White Bear Road. Board the Verde Lynx Route 1 heading towards Cottonwood. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Cottonwood Transit Center. From there, transfer to Route 2, which will take you towards the Walnut Canyon area. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance to ensure you have the correct timings.

Bicycle
For those who prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Sedona. Start your journey from the Sedona Bike and Bean located at 3200 W State Route 89A. Head east on State Route 89A and then turn onto N. State Route 179. Follow the signs towards the Walnut Canyon National Monument. The ride is approximately 15 miles and will take about 1 hour depending on your cycling speed. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations.
