Car
From any location within Tonto National Forest, head to AZ-87 N. Continue on AZ-87 N for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with US-60 W. Merge onto US-60 W and follow the signs towards Phoenix. After about 30 miles, take exit 177 for Val Vista Dr. Turn left onto Val Vista Dr and continue until you reach E Guadalupe Rd. Turn right onto E Guadalupe Rd, and the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch will be on your left at 2757 E Guadalupe Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85234.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in the Tonto National Forest. However, you can take a shuttle to the nearest major city, which is Phoenix. From Phoenix, use Valley Metro Light Rail to reach the area near Gilbert. Take the light rail towards Mesa and disembark at the Mesa Drive/Main Street station. From there, you can catch a bus (Route 136) towards Gilbert and get off at the stop nearest to E Guadalupe Rd. You will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles to reach Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch.
