The museum houses a collection of over 18,000 exhibits, including manuscripts, photographs, and documents that detail Toumanian's life and literary contributions. Visitors can explore his personal library and view original works in over 45 languages. A highlight is the meticulously recreated six rooms of Toumanian's last apartment in Tiflis (Tbilisi), offering an intimate glimpse into his world. The museum also incorporates modern technology, offering 3D animations and virtual encounters with characters from Toumanian's stories. The museum also features a research center dedicated to studying and publishing materials related to Toumanian and children's literature. The museum serves as a cultural hub, hosting exhibitions, educational programs and festivals. Currently, the museum is undergoing renovations and is temporarily located at the Hrant Matevossian Cultural Center-Museum at 51/1 Abovyan Street, Yerevan.
