If you are starting from the central square of Gyumri, known as Vardanants Square, exit the square heading east towards the main road, Gayi Street. Walk along Gayi Street until you reach the intersection with Rustaveli Street. Turn left onto Rustaveli Street and continue walking straight for about 700 meters. The Mher Mkrtchyan Museum will be on your right at number 30 Rustaveli Street. Look for a sign indicating the museum's entrance.

From Vardanants Square, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) towards the direction of the museums in Gyumri. Board any marshrutka that goes to the city center and ask the driver to drop you off at the stop near Rustaveli Street. Once you get off, walk towards Rustaveli Street, and head east for about 300 meters. The museum is located at 30 Rustaveli Street, on your left-hand side.
