Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the city of Yerevan. Head northwest on the M1 highway towards Ashtarak. Continue on M1 until you reach the turn-off for the H4 road towards Aragats. Follow the H4 road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the village of Aparan. From Aparan, take the road leading to Mount Aragats and follow the signs towards the lake. Once you arrive at the parking area near Before Source (Նախաակունք Լիճ), you will need to park your car and walk the remaining distance to the lake.

Public Transportation
To reach Before Source (Նախաակունք Լիճ) using public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Yerevan to Aparan. Marshrutkas depart from the central bus station or designated stops throughout the city. The journey takes about 1-1.5 hours, and the fare is approximately 500-700 AMD.
