Car
If you are driving from Yerevan, take the M1 highway towards Ashtarak. Continue on M1 for about 30 km until you reach Artashavan. The road leading to the lake is unpaved but navigable with a standard car. Expect about a 1-hour drive from Yerevan.

From Yerevan, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) to Artashavan. Marshrutkas leave from the Kilikia Bus Station and cost around 500 AMD. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours.
