Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Yerevan, take the M1 highway towards Ashtarak. Continue on M1 for about 30 km until you reach Artashavan. Once in Artashavan, look for signs pointing towards Lake Alphabet or use your GPS with the coordinates 40.4077835, 44.380752. The road leading to the lake is unpaved but navigable with a standard car. Expect about a 1-hour drive from Yerevan.

Public Transportation
From Yerevan, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) to Artashavan. Marshrutkas leave from the Kilikia Bus Station and cost around 500 AMD. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Artashavan, you will need to take a taxi to Lake Alphabet, as public transport does not reach the lake directly. Taxi fares should be negotiated but expect to pay around 2000-3000 AMD for the short trip to the lake.
