Getting There

Walking
Start at the center of Vayk, near the main square. Head east along Abovyan Street until you reach the intersection with Tigran Mets Street. Continue straight until you reach the edge of the town. From here, you will need to follow the dirt path that leads towards the mountains. The path is marked with occasional signs pointing towards Mount Armaghan. Keep walking for about 2 kilometers until you reach a fork; take the path to the right which leads uphill.

Hiking
As you continue up the path, you will start to see the terrain change. After about another 1.5 kilometers, you will come across a small stream. Take a rest here if needed, as the final ascent can be steep. After the stream, follow the trail that veers to the left, which will lead you through some rocky terrain. This final stretch is about 1 kilometer. You will know you are close when you start to see panoramic views of the surrounding area and the peak of Mount Armaghan in the distance.

Final Ascent
For the last 500 meters, the path becomes steeper. Follow the well-trodden trail that zigzags up the side of the mountain. Take your time and enjoy the views. Once you reach the summit of Mount Armaghan, you will be rewarded with stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Make sure to take plenty of photos!
