Public Transport
From the Aruba Cruise Port or the center of Oranjestad, the Arubus public bus is a convenient and affordable option. Head to the main bus terminal in Oranjestad, located across from the cruise terminal. Look for buses heading towards the 'Hotel Area' or Eagle Beach. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. A one-way ticket costs $2.60, a round trip $4.00 and a day pass is $10. Buses run every 15 minutes from 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM, and then every 40 minutes until 11:30 PM.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available from most points on Aruba. From the cruise port, a taxi to Eagle Beach will cost approximately $15 and take about 8 minutes. From the airport, a taxi to Eagle Beach is about $22 and takes 10-15 minutes. These are fixed rates for up to 4 passengers. A surcharge of $3 applies between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, on Sundays, official holidays and over the Christmas Season.
Car
If driving, ample free parking is available in designated lots near Eagle Beach. From Oranjestad, follow L.G. Smith Boulevard, then J.E. Irausquin Boulevard. Look for signs directing you to Eagle Beach. Parking is free.
