Car

From Atherton, head south on the Kennedy Highway (State Route 1) towards Cairns. Continue for approximately 45 kilometers until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with the Captain Cook Highway. Take the second exit onto the Captain Cook Highway and continue for about 3 kilometers. Take the exit towards Whitfield/Edge Hill and turn left onto Edge Hill Road. Continue straight until you reach Hillview Crescent, then turn right. Cairns Discovery Tours will be on your left at 33 Hillview Crescent.
Public Transportation

From Atherton, take the bus service (TransLink route 110) to Cairns Central Station. The bus ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Cairns Central, transfer to bus route 100 towards Smithfield.
