If you are staying in the Cairns city center, start at the Cairns Esplanade. Head north along the Esplanade until you reach the intersection with Abbott Street. Turn left onto Abbott Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Greenslopes Street. Turn right onto Greenslopes Street and follow it until you arrive at the Centenary Lakes Nature Play Space, which will be on your left. The walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Cairns Central Station, walk to the nearest bus stop at Lake Street. Catch Bus Number 110 (to Gordonvale) or Bus Number 111 (to Smithfield) and get off at the stop 'Greenslopes St at Centenary Lakes'. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, walk a short distance down Greenslopes Street, and you will see the Centenary Lakes Nature Play Space.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the Cairns city center. Start at the Esplanade and head north. Follow the bike path along the Esplanade until you reach Abbott Street. Turn left onto Abbott Street, then right onto Greenslopes Street. Continue along Greenslopes Street until you reach the Centenary Lakes Nature Play Space. This route is approximately 3 kilometers and should take around 15-20 minutes by bike.
