Car
If you're driving, head towards Katoomba. From the Katoomba town center, take the Great Western Highway (A32) and follow it until you see the signs for Blue Mountains National Park. Turn onto Glenraphael Drive and continue until you reach the entrance to the park. There is no entry fee for walking tracks like Federal Pass, but parking facilities may incur a fee depending on the specific area you are parking in. Ensure to check for parking signs. Once parked, follow the signs to the Federal Pass walking track.

Public Transport
Take a train from Sydney to Katoomba Station, which operates frequently and takes about two hours. Upon arrival at Katoomba Station, exit the station and catch a local bus that goes to the Blue Mountains National Park. You can take the bus service 686 or 687, which will take you to the area near the Federal Pass entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as they can vary on weekends and public holidays. After getting off the bus, follow the marked walking track signs towards Federal Pass.

Walking
If you are already in Katoomba, you can walk to Federal Pass. Start from the Katoomba town center and head towards the Scenic World area. From there, follow the signs leading to the Federal Pass track. The walk is approximately 1.5 to 2 kilometers from the center of Katoomba, taking around 30-40 minutes. This is a beautiful walk with scenic views, so take your time and enjoy the surroundings.
