Car
If you are traveling by car, start from any location within the Blue Mountains area and head towards Blackheath. From Katoomba, take the Great Western Highway (A32) towards Blackheath. Once you reach Blackheath, turn onto Govetts Leap Road. The Blue Mountains Heritage Centre is located at 270 Govetts Leap Rd, and there is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation (Train)
For those using public transport, take a train from Sydney to Blackheath Station. Trains frequently run from Central Station to Blackheath. Upon arrival at Blackheath Station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop outside. Catch the Blue Mountains Explorer Bus (Route 1) which stops at the Blue Mountains Heritage Centre. The bus fare is approximately $10, and buses run every hour.
Walking (from Blackheath Station)
If you prefer to walk from Blackheath Station, it is about a 20-minute walk to the Blue Mountains Heritage Centre. Exit the station and head south on Station St, then turn right onto Govetts Leap Rd. Follow Govetts Leap Rd for approximately 1.6 kilometers until you reach the centre at 270 Govetts Leap Rd. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
