Sylvia Falls is accessed via the Valley of the Waters Track, starting from the Conservation Hut at the end of Fletcher Street in Wentworth Falls. From the Conservation Hut, follow the signs for the Valley of the Waters Track. The track descends steeply into the valley, passing several other waterfalls along the way, including Queen Victoria Lookout, Empress Falls and Lodore Falls. Continue past Empress Falls for a short distance (approximately 150m) to reach Sylvia Falls. The walk from Conservation Hut to Sylvia Falls is approximately 1.5km and takes 45 minutes to 1 hour. Note that the return journey involves a steep climb.

To reach Sylvia Falls using public transport, take a train to Wentworth Falls Station. From the station, you can take a taxi or walk to the Conservation Hut. The walk from Wentworth Falls Station to Conservation Hut is approximately 2.5km and takes around 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can catch bus 685 from the train station to a stop closer to Fletcher Street. From there, it is a short walk to the Conservation Hut and the start of the Valley of the Waters Track. * **Train Fare:** Opal card single trip from Central Station to Wentworth Falls Station is approximately $6.00 - $8.50. * **Taxi Fare:** A taxi from Wentworth Falls Station to Conservation Hut is approximately $15 - $25.
