Car
If you're driving, start from Katoomba, a central town in the Blue Mountains. Head southwest on Katoomba Street, then turn left onto the Great Western Highway (A32). Continue along the highway for approximately 10 km, then take the exit towards Blackheath. Follow the signs to Blackheath and continue onto the Bell Road. After around 5 km, take a right onto Shipley Road towards the Blue Mountains National Park. Once in the park, follow the signs to Wind Eroded Cave Lookout. Parking is available near the lookout.
Public Transport
To reach Wind Eroded Cave Lookout via public transport, catch a train from Sydney to Katoomba Station, which takes about 2 hours. From Katoomba Station, you can take the 686 bus towards Blackheath. Get off at the stop for Blackheath and transfer to the 691 bus that heads into the Blue Mountains National Park. Make sure to check the schedule as the frequency may vary. The bus will take you close to Wind Eroded Cave Lookout. Note that you may need to walk a short distance from the bus stop to the lookout.
Walking
If you're in Blackheath and prefer to walk, from the Blackheath town center, head towards the Blue Mountains National Park entrance. The walk to Wind Eroded Cave Lookout is about 3 km and will take approximately 45 minutes. Follow the walking trails marked in the park and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and carry water, as the trails can be steep in places.
