Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the Brisbane city center, start by heading towards Adelaide Street. From King George Square, make your way to Adelaide Street and walk east. Continue walking along Adelaide Street until you reach 64 Adelaide Street, where you will find the entrance to Brisbane City Hall. The Museum of Brisbane is located on Level 3 of the City Hall. You can take the lift or stairs up to the third floor to access the museum.

• Public Transport - Bus

  To reach the Museum of Brisbane via bus, find the nearest bus stop and board a bus that heads towards the city center. If you are near the Queen Street Mall, take any bus that stops at the Brisbane Transit Centre or King George Square. Once you arrive at King George Square, exit the bus and walk towards Adelaide Street. Head east along Adelaide Street until you reach 64 Adelaide Street. The entrance to the City Hall is there, and you can take the lift or stairs to Level 3 to visit the museum.

• Public Transport - Train

  If you are traveling by train, board a train to Central Station, which is the closest train station to the museum. Upon exiting Central Station, head towards the exit for Ann Street. Once outside, walk east on Ann Street until you reach Albert Street. Turn left onto Albert Street and continue walking until you reach Adelaide Street. Turn right onto Adelaide Street and walk until you reach 64 Adelaide Street. The museum is on Level 3 of the Brisbane City Hall.

• Public Transport - Ferry

  For those traveling by ferry, take a ferry to the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens terminal. From there, exit the terminal and walk towards the city center. Head up Alice Street until you reach George Street. Turn left on George Street and continue walking until you reach Adelaide Street. Turn right on Adelaide Street and walk until you reach 64 Adelaide Street. The entrance to the City Hall is on your left, and the museum is located on Level 3.
