Getting There

• Walking

  If you're already in the South Bank area, the South Bank Boardwalk is within easy walking distance. Start by heading towards the riverfront from your current location. Look for the Clem Jones Promenade, which runs along the Brisbane River. As you walk along the promenade, enjoy the view of the river and the city skyline. The Boardwalk is located directly along this promenade, so simply continue walking until you reach the designated area. Depending on your starting point, the walk should take around 5 to 15 minutes.

• Public Transport - Ferry

  If you are further away or prefer a scenic route, consider taking the CityCat ferry. The nearest ferry terminal is the South Bank Ferry Terminal. To reach the terminal, walk to the nearest CityCat stop (if applicable) or follow the signs towards the riverfront. Once at the South Bank Ferry Terminal, board a CityCat heading towards the Brisbane CBD or Northshore. The ferry ride is enjoyable and offers stunning views of the river. Disembark at the South Bank Ferry Terminal, and from there, it’s a short walk to the Boardwalk. Note that ferry fares apply, and you can purchase tickets from the terminal.

  Alternatively, you can take a bus to South Bank. Identify the nearest bus stop to your location and check the bus schedule for routes heading to South Bank. Look for buses with stops at 'South Bank' or 'Cultural Centre.' Once you arrive at the South Bank bus stop, you can walk toward the river and follow the Clem Jones Promenade to reach the Boardwalk. Be aware that bus fares will vary depending on your journey.
