If you are in the Brisbane CBD, head to any bus stop and catch a bus heading towards the South Bank or QUT. The buses that stop near QUT Art Museum include routes 60 and 61. Alight at the 'QUT Gardens Point' bus stop. From there, walk along George St towards the university entrance. The museum is located inside the Queensland University of Technology campus at 2 George St.

If you are near a train station, board a train on the City Line and get off at 'Central Station.' Once you exit the station, head towards the Queen Street Mall. Walk down the mall and take a right onto Edward St. Continue walking until you reach George St. Turn left onto George St and walk straight until you reach the QUT campus entrance. The QUT Art Museum is located at 2 George St, just inside the campus.

If you are already in the Brisbane CBD, simply walk towards the Brisbane River. Head to the pedestrian bridge called the 'Goodwill Bridge' and cross over to the South Bank Parklands. Once on the South Bank, follow the path along the river back towards the city until you reach the QUT Gardens Point campus. The QUT Art Museum is located at 2 George St, just past the university entrance.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride along the Brisbane River. There are dedicated bike paths that lead from various parts of the city to the South Bank area.
