Walking
If you are in Fortitude Valley, the easiest way to reach the Museum of Brisbane is to walk. Head towards the Queen Street Mall, which is a short distance from Fortitude Valley. Once you reach the mall, continue walking straight until you see Adelaide Street. Turn left onto Adelaide Street, and keep walking until you reach the Brisbane City Hall. The Museum of Brisbane is located on Level 3 of the City Hall, which is at 64 Adelaide Street, Brisbane City QLD 4000.

Public Transport - Bus
You can also take a bus from Fortitude Valley to the Museum of Brisbane. Head to the nearest bus stop on Ann Street, which is about a 5-minute walk from the heart of Fortitude Valley. You can catch a bus that is heading towards the city center (look for buses with routes that go to the Brisbane CBD). The bus fare is approximately AUD 3.50 for a one-way trip, depending on the distance. Get off at the stop closest to Queen Street Mall, then walk towards Adelaide Street and locate Brisbane City Hall. The museum is on Level 3.

Another option is to take the train from Fortitude Valley station. Board a train heading towards Brisbane Central or any train that stops at Brisbane Central Station (the journey is only a few minutes). When you arrive at Brisbane Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the Queen Street Mall. From there, head towards Adelaide Street and look for Brisbane City Hall. The Museum of Brisbane is located on Level 3. Please note that train fares typically range from AUD 3.00 to AUD 5.00 depending on the time of travel.
